Meet Matt.
Meet Matt.
Matt’s parents knew about Emmaus even before the first Emmaus home was opened. They recognized the need for a long term plan for Matt when the day came that they could no longer care for him.
Fast forward twenty years and their dream came true! Having raised a large and loving family, it was time for them to move into an assisted living community. On that same day, Matt moved into an Emmaus Home.
Matt knows everyone and everyone knows Matt. He is kind and funny, helpful and thoughtful. He participates in bowling, Special Olympics, and shooting hoops in the back yard. Mat enjoys eating out at restaurants, shopping, going to dances and especially making money at his job with Goodwill Industries.
